Tuesday, October 30, 2012 - UCGB tasting Bordeaux 2010 (Brussels): The bouquet is a bit reticent, but it is classical with dark cassis and beautiful oak. On the palate the oak is dominating in this stage but there are dark fruits, good acidity and tannin and a touch of pleasant sweetness. Everything in this wine is quite ok, but it all has to integrate. Give it at least 10 - 12 years of cellaring; so until 2020 - 2022 and then see how it shows.

12/4/2012 10:39:00 AM - Would you mind if I asked you how you got your hands on a 2010 Bordeaux? Here in Montreal, Canada we won't see these wines for another year. Just curious.
