Saturday, February 23, 2013 - The champagne was pale straw in colour, with medium fine and medium intense perlage. It offered lemon, a hint of brioche and on day two also a hint of tea leave on the nose. On the palate the medium- to light-bodied sparkler was lemon & lime-driven, with crisp medium-plus acidity, a good mouthfeel and very good length. I liked it better on day two as it developed a slightly tropical touch over night, with hints of pineapple, lychee and peach. A fresh champagne, maybe a bit thin and steely and a little boring.
