Sunday, May 9, 2010 - Probably the most powerful Insignia I have ever had! Decanted and then poured after about an hour. BIG, concentrated flavors of cassis, blackberry and a hint of oak. Not as elegant as I am used to with Insignia, this is a huge wine with a massive body, superb concentration and multilayered flavors. Well balanced with lots of acidity and firm tannins that matched the concentration of the fruit. A ridiculously long, voluptuous finish. Like a typical Insignia -- but on steroids. This bottle had a long, long life ahead of it.
