Saturday, April 17, 2004 - Seattle Tasting Group does 22 years of Phelps Insignia (Bellevue, WA, USA): This has a very pretty nose of cassis, mineral and a little gunpowder. This has stunning balance, almost unreal. I was really very surprised and impressed by this wine and the poise it showed, as I have read so much about the 1999 vintage being overly tannic. Not this wine!
