85 Points

Tuesday, October 17, 2017 - Decanted for about an hour. This wine's color shows its age. Transparent brick red.(4/5); Nose is one of light cherry fruit, oak, earth and mushrooms.(8/10). The tannins appear to be quite tame but not yet fully integrated. (14/20); The finish is long and thin (7/10). Ageing potential is minimal in my opinion as this wine seems to be on the backside of its life curve. (2/5) = 35 + 50 = 85
