Friday, March 4, 2022 - Really dark and concentrated wine. Cassis, tobacco, anise, hint of spice and oak. All consistent on nose and palate. Very high acid, rich and mouth filling. I enjoyed this but did find it a little too bombastic for me. Probably could have scored higher with a longer decant and if I was in the mood for it.

Fair amount of sediment. Cork tight and in great condition. Decant and give it a good few hours to breathe.
