Sunday, December 27, 2020 - Retail $22. I was going to do the cop-out "consistent notes" thing here again, but re-reading my notes, a few things have changed. First, though she still likes this wine, I would hazard to guess that this is no longer one of my wife's "favorites." My mother-in-law, on the other hand, *loves* this wine as she likes her vino with a bit of sugar on it. While noticeable, it is far from cloying, and helps to balance out the powerful acidity. A bunch of fruit (mostly tree) with some minerality, and that classic petrol. Ten years out and while this is my last bottle, it is still going strong and would have likely held on for another decade. 91. thedrunkencyclist.com
