Friday, November 14, 2014 - Straightforward with quite impressive fruit and a structural backbone which makes me tick. Nose offers up classy dark fruit, fresh herbs and a whiff of mint. The palate adds nicely to the overall experience with structure and a nice balance between fruit and acidity. The 2009 Collide presents itself as a drinkable, balanced and very nice effort. Not sure it will cellar very well, but it certainly was very enjoyable tonight.
