Sunday, June 17, 2012 - Very much a different wine than what I had only three months ago as it was much rounded this time around (still outstanding the first time). Nose was dark fruit balanced with spice and slight smokiness; taste was dark fruits, smoke and earth. Alcohol was evident, but much less so than previously. Medium to long finish. Overall, really great Zin that went so very well with sticky blackberry baby back ribs.
