Friday, December 26, 2014 - Light gold in colour, with a moderate bead that dissipates rather quickly. On the nose, honey, lemon peel, tangerine, grated ginger, decaying red apple, toast, spice, and hint of mushroom, caramel and a touch of garbage juice. On the palate, this is round with moderate dosage (reportedly 12 g/L), medium plus acidity. The finish is relatively long, with tastes of lemon zest, mineral, baked apple, salted caramel, grapefruit, spice and yeast. This bottle seemed a touch advanced for its age, but if representative, I wouldn't age this for too long.
