Friday, July 6, 2018 - Dinner at Tim's (Chicago, IL): Bottled under DIAM -- it's good to see Fevre doing something about premox (of which there is none here, I might add). The nose shows only slightly reductively, and there's a hint of white fruit here. The palate is quite consistent, and there's good minerality and acidity here. It's not as complex or electric as I remember it being though (that was 3.5 years ago). It seems to have mellowed out a little, and I've never been too much of a fan of aged chardonnay. This is still a solid wine, but for my own taste, I'm not holding my other bottle any longer.
