Sunday, April 16, 2023 - Color showed bricking had begun. After 60+ minutes of air, the nose was an explosive 96-97 points: very sweet and nearly candied strawberries and red cherries, rose petals, minerals, sweet Oak that had an element of elegance seldom matched, and it hung with you all night. If the palate matched with the same intensity and length of finish, the bottle would have been miles out of the budget. On the palate you got some of all of the nose, but it was a comparatively thin after mid palate. Very smooth and elegant. Without the nose, a 92.
