Tuesday, March 26, 2013 - Until drinking this bottle I thought the 2001 was way too sugarry-sweet and lacking acid. I have changed my mind 100%. This is as good an Yquem I have ever tasted and I believe it is going to do nothing but get better for at least the next 20 years+. Tasting note: Yes! Pairing: Shake a little salt on Torchon of fxxx Gxxx and in the imortal words of Irving Berlin, "Heaven, I'm in Heaven". And also the not so imortal words of Speedy, Try it. You'll like it!".
