Sunday, April 7, 2013 - This needs air to get the best out of it but once it's taken a few breaths it's a different wine. Fresh, crunchy red berries with that lovely gamay savouriness but also a florality you would expect from northern rhone, and a not unpleasant hint of the farmyard lingering in the background. Had with hawksmoor roast beef and it stood up to the challenge. Interesting wine.
