Monday, December 26, 2022 - Out of magnum. Opened 2 hours prior to tasting. Great nose of blackberries, raspberries, dust, minerals, evergreen. The palate is rich and ripe, medium to full bodied. At first it had a bit of that roasted, pruned note found in some CdPs, but this faded over time and the wine was very fresh with nice acidity. Some tannins in the medium long finish. Very nice overall.
