Monday, April 18, 2016 - HdR Seminar 1: CdP (Hospice du Rhone): 65% Grenache. Ruby in color with slight purple swirls. The nose has cherries and slight black cherries. Great seamless texture. Great fruit. Black cherries and a salinity that is interesting. Thick tannins. Long warm, not hot finish. This is an outstanding wine with lots of upside potential. Great depth, freshness and tight complexity.
