Saturday, May 25, 2019 - Last bottle I had of this was a bit dumb, but not this one. Though, it does seem to have a split personality. The nose and initial attack are bright red fruit, candied cherry and that lovely grenache sweetness. Mid-palate and on the finish it becomes dark, earthen and tarry. Lengthy, lingering black fruit and tar finish. I love the second personality - rough and bawdy. A great experience.
