Monday, April 18, 2022 - I think this was the best Vieux Telegraph CdP I have had. I admit to being a little underwhelmed by past vintage bottles. I finally decided I had been expecting too much and to just enjoy it for what it is. However, this was the first bottle that hit greatness. Just a delicious wine with everything in balance. It was maybe a tad alcoholic, which might smooth out with a few more years in the cellar. It is still a fresh and lively wine at this point, with lots of good fruit. Southern Rhone in a bottle, in a great vintage. Perfect with grilled lamb chops.
