Sunday, August 28, 2016 - I'm an admirer of Dujac's 1998s and the Morey 1er is no exception. A complex bouquet of red and black fruit, autumn leaves, rich soil tones, warm spice and vinesmoke is followed by a broad, transparent and intense wine with good cut and persistence. The tannins are nicely melted and the wine is attractively approachable.
