Tuesday, January 1, 2013 - The color was deep purple with ruby hues around the edges. I found the nose to be pleasant with ripe blackberry, a hint of citrus and spice. On the palate it showed a medium body, with was juicy and very easy drinking, yet lacking any real depth with tart berry fruit. The finish was slightly drying with inner floral notes and tart berry.

This was an enjoyable wine but nothing really stood out to call it memorable. I'd call it any everyday wine but at $20 - $25 a bottle, it doesn't really fit the average drinkers daily price point.
