Sunday, November 19, 2017 - For being a 2008, I was very pleasantly surprised (I love Pinots but tend to prefer earlier in the drinking window). Still drinking quite well, which speaks to the caliber of Hamacher Pinot Noir. Light-to-medium color. Not as juicy as a younger vintage might be, but a lot of the characteristic spicy, dark cherry nose. Nine-year aging has brought an incredibly silky, smooth finish. Wish I had more in the cellar...
