Nose on orange peels and an oxidative trait

Mouth with controlled oxidative characteristics, it is elegant, chalky and vinous at the same time, very particular as always with Selosse. Great complexity with the structure of the wine which is revealed after the vinous touch where the meringue and the candied fruits are revealed. Great chalky finish with a saline length.

Excellent, a beautiful mature VO.

8/2/2023 5:55:00 AM - Thanks for the well-written note. I have never tried Selosse and am thinking of buying this VO ‘14 disgorgement. I do like a slight oxidative note but nothing too powerful. I recently had a Bereche ‘14 and it was pushing the boat a bit for me in that style. Same with Coquart. I wonder if you have had those? I am wary of buying Selosse as not sure it will be just too oxidative for my taste! I recently had Ulysse Collin BdB and it was very good.
