Saturday, January 29, 2011 - Disgorged Oct 2009. Wow. This wines packs in quite a punch. Very expressive, rich, minerally, buttery, very nuanced and complex. Lightly oxidative note, citrousy fruits, blood orange, toast, green and red apples, white chocolate, some oak derived aromas and striking minerality. Mid length minerally finish. Perhaps i am nick-picking, but i do find the balance off a little. Still, there is no denying that this is a gorgeous champagne that I would not mind drinking any time.
