Saturday, February 6, 2016 - Our First Acker Auction (Marea in NYC): Disgorged Aug 4, 2014. This had tea-like characteristics and an herbal quality and some savory notes. Was not as smooth as the '90 LGD on initial pouring, but really came together in the glass. It was evolving through to the last sip with pine needles and maybe even a vanilla bean note towards the end. Very good champagne. Would love to see in 10 years.
