Nose is tell-tale Selosse showing the distinctive oxidized sherry notes, wet hay, some oak spices with vanilla, touch of rubber, fine white pears, chalk & smoked minerals.
Palate is on the younger side still, with hints of vanilla, pears, some oak, bruised red apples, hay and lovely Selosse oxidized Sherry notes.
A touch of pepper and bitterness on the finish.
Opened up nicely and came along with more time in the glass, but would have shown better with more bottle age.
92 + points tonight.
