Saturday, August 12, 2017 - Disgorged December, 2013. Dull yellow. A whiff of sherry to start but freshened quickly to more lemon tones. The oxidation was never as noticeable on the palate. Lively citrus, great acidity, and completely dry, although initial austerity miraculously turned to a sense of natural ripeness. As always, a living, dynamic Champagne that challenged the senses and expanded over time.
