Sunday, January 21, 2018 - Rich and intense champagne. Almost amber color. Nose is razor sharp. With tight citrus, granny apple notes. Palate is very rich and intense here with the known oxidized elements showing. Initially the wine starts very razor sharp, piercing in ways, with air more citrus, lemon curd, bread/yeast and wood start to emerge. Secondary notes of vanilla and sherry elements. Relatively long and rich finish. Arguably young and needs to be tamed.
I am not feeling the price quality ratio here. Will try other cuvees when possible.
