Friday, September 28, 2018 - Charleston IV - Return of the Collectible; 9/27/2018-9/30/2018 (Charleston, SC (various locations)): Wow - three times with this wine in slightly more than a month. How lucky are we? The first bottle was the strongest showing, but this was still delicious and maybe my favorite of all of the champagnes in terms of being right in the drinking window. Has that oxidized side to it, but here I thought the vanilla and caramel were showing through more. Similar flavor profile to the DP, but bubbles still intact and showing well.
