Saturday, September 11, 2021 - Epic Bordeaux for an Epic Birthday!; 9/1/2021-9/12/2021 (Paris & Bordeaux): Served blind and you'd think that this would be easy because he has such a very distinguished style and yet not at all. I think maybe because he has such a different style it was a bit harder. I was in the world of Pinot because there was some spice and herbal to it. But that is really just his oxidation causing the different flavors. It's an interesting wine and constantly evolving. Poured a very dark yellow in the decanter and a lot lighter in the glass. Lovely to drink.
