Thursday, November 1, 2012 - color: medium-dark purple; nose: earthy, barnyard, oak; taste: medium-bodied weight, bright & deep plum jam taste, medium-length rounded finish which tastes of black pepper and licorice; overall: easy-to-like, better-than-ordinary, New World fruity pour which benefits from several hours of aeration and would pair well with grilled burgers, chicken thighs, or pork tenderloin, decent QPR at $13/bottle and a buy-a-bunch steal if you can find it at $10
