Thursday, March 7, 2013 - Willamette Valley Wines presents: Pinot in the City (City Winery, Chicago, IL): Nose: There are some nice aromatic tones of chalk, rhubarb, red berries, cherries, and some spice tones.

Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity. The feel is pretty with tones of chalk, rhubarb, red berries, spices, and some underlying mineral tones.

Overall: This is a very pretty and balanced Pinot. It is lacking some depth on both the nose and palate, but it makes up for that with its softer touch.
