Saturday, November 27, 2021 - Our Club had its steak and seafood night so after having some chardonnay at the house our group went to the club and proceeded to drink three bottles of cabernet. This, a 2014 Realm Tempest and a 2015 Switchback.
This was the star of the show. Opened 4 hours prior to going to dinner and another hour as we drank the Tempest. The nose is all fruit. The palate was berries, figs, currents, tobacco, dried leaves and a touch dried thyme on the finish which was exceptionally long. Unfortunately my only bottle of the 2010 but it was consumed with great friends. I am actually tempted to rate it a 98. So 97+ for last night.
