Tuesday, March 31, 2015 - Dark red, the colour was round and beautiful, not inky like some 09s I've had. Lovely nose of dark violets, blackcurrants and rose petals, with a touch of iron and nail polish. Palate was enjoyable. Decent structure, lots of ripe and fresh red fruits, flowers and chocolate. Not overripe or extracted, good balance with nice acidity and minerals. Very well made village.
