Friday, June 24, 2016 - H.I.Jones 73rd Birthday at Pokai Parera - Day 1 (Ekatahuna, New Zealand): Drunk after 10 years in a cold (max 11 degrees, C), this was quite excellent. A vibrant fluffy mousse, a lot of bottle development , but also retaining good clarity. While I prefer my champagnes to be fresh, this was an example of a nv wine developing pleasing characters through cellaring.
