Thursday, April 30, 2020 - Ever so slightly shrunken cork, slightly darker gold suggesting possibly a bit of bottle age. Rather high-toned nose, saline, lactic, toasty. Softer taste, not so acidic as I remember. Creamy-chalky with gentle lime acidity. Quite linear, tastes young. Okay, but I'm only drinking it because better options are limited at the moment. [Cork + cage; 12% abv; Scotmid/Co-op, -£6 @ £25].

5/1/2020 10:20:00 AM - Hi. Scotmid is a chain of convenience stores found in Scotland; it is affiliated with the Co-op, and stocks mostly the same products, but has its own branding and when I last checked, wouldn't accept the Co-op loyalty card. There are also Co-ops proper in Scotland, which have the same branding as in the rest of the country. I'm not sure why - in the past each region had its own, we had Normid in the North West of England back in the 80s, for instance.
