Saturday, November 9, 2019 - "You only turn 45 once" (Chicago, IL): This shows a bit of a stemmy influence on the palate in some of the brown spice flavours. There is a perfumed strawberry element on the nose, and the acidity here is bright and fresh. Fully resolved and ready to drink, and quite compelling, though I think the fruit profile is definitely a little high-toned to confuse this with Burgundy.
