45th Birthday Celebration (Chez Nanda): Classically Cristom with plenty of stem character and rich strawberry and cherry fruit. This is still quite young and even primary in nature. 5th vintage bottled by Cristom. No rush if you still have a bottle. Should hold for a decade+.

"You only turn 45 once" (Chicago, IL): This shows a bit of a stemmy influence on the palate in some of the brown spice flavours. There is a perfumed strawberry element on the nose, and the acidity here is bright and fresh. Fully resolved and ready to drink, and quite compelling, though I think the fruit profile is definitely a little high-toned to confuse this with Burgundy.

Drink em if you got em. This little lady is past her prime but you can still tell she was a great bottle in her day. Tannins are still strong but the fruit is not as integrated as I was optimistically hoping for. Giving it a 90 for what I believe it was 2 yeats ago as opposed to where it was last night... like rating a young bordeaux...

One of the most Burgundian of Oregon pinots with a surprisingly fresh nose, a beautifully aged brickish color. All in all, a wonderfully balanced and delicate wine. Bravo to winemaker Steve Doerner.
