Saturday, December 29, 2012 - From a Tasting Room 50 ml, unscrewed and poured. Nose: Medium expressiveness, gamey, oak, smoke, licorice and dark fruit - plum. Palate: Medium bodied, muted flavors of dark fruit up front with an acidic kick thru the mid-palate, back-end shows resurgent sweet dark fruit flavor and a surprising creaminess - but it's youth shows as rough edges are apparent. Finish: Medium length finish of tart dark fruit.
