Wednesday, March 24, 2021 - Fairly dark core but it is beginning to show signs of age around the rim. Tertiary notes emerging. Wine is medium body but beginning to fade in texture. The grip is fading. This may be the best this wine gets. I’ve worked 3/4 through a case and the nose is better than before but the wine has gone from dense and boring to flat and fading. Grapey flavors. I’m ready to move on from this one.
