91 Points

Sunday, October 11, 2020 - moderate depth of color, ruby to red rim. strongly aromatic with that typical middle aged burgundy thing... cherry pit, mushroom broth, tea, integrated baking spices. on the palate high acids, plenty of midpalate depth, a moderate amount of firm tannins. balanced wine that is on the firm side, good length, very good intensity and complexity. certainly not profound or terribly pleasurable, but hits all the appropriate notes. i would start checking in on these if you have them... this doesn't feel like it's gonna last forever.
