Tuesday, April 26, 2011 - Deep garnet. Initially reticent nose...then an explosion of cherry, incense, garrigue, green peppercorns, cocoa. The mouth is astonishing, with cardamon, sweet spices, red fruits jam, kirsch, milk chocolate. Finish is simply infinite. Drink with very strong aged pecorino cheese or on its own.
