Although not appreciated in the decanter, once poured into the glass, it displayed a gorgeous floral perfume that I would have pegged as Margaux or Palmer for sure. On the palate, medium weight, medium length, but sweet and seductive for about an hour. Then the perfume wore off and a bit of leather crept in, making the finish slightly dry. I haven't tasted this wine in many years, but this has to be one of the very best showings ever.
