Friday, April 24, 2020 - Well sadly I would have to call this bottle more advanced than anticipated; I'm not a premox expert as I don't drink a lot of older white Burg, but this was far more oxidative and less vibrant than anticipated at age 10; the color was golden; the nose showed bruised apple, toasted walnut, and dried floral notes. The palate was not unpleasant, but definitely did not have any lift or vibrancy that I was hoping for. Drinkable, but this bottle definitely seemed prematurely oxidized to me.
