Sunday, October 28, 2012 - This wine is translucent garnet colored with vibrant clarity. The aromas are sweet cherries, potent cranberries, floral notes like rose, and sassafras. The perfumed smells are themselves intoxicating. The tastes are cranberry, cherry, forest floor, black olive, minerality, and licorice. The tannins are lithe and the body is light. The finish seems a bit short but overall, this is an elegant wine that is very aromatic and a great value (for Burgundy).
