A surprisingly good Burgundy for the relatively small price tag of just over $21. Big full nose. Well rounded and very balanced on the palette. With a nice lasting finish. Consumed as bottle #16 in My Burgundy Project.

Nez: Sur le fruit (framboise, cerise). Un peu de bois mais relativement "intégré". Nez somme toute assez simple. Bouche: Tout comme le nez, la bouche est tout en fruit. P-ê un peu trop à mon goût. Manque un petit qqchose pour dire que le vin sera un autre achat dans le futur. Somme toute agréable à boire. Salutations

This was a good medium wine, and it opened as it breathed into its full bodied flavor. But is was not more than that. The wine looks Violet colored. It smells like Black currant (cassis), and Raspberry. It tastes like and Black currant (cassis). The body is Medium. The wine has Polished texture. The wine finishes Medium.

This wine is translucent garnet colored with vibrant clarity. The aromas are sweet cherries, potent cranberries, floral notes like rose, and sassafras. The perfumed smells are themselves intoxicating. The tastes are cranberry, cherry, forest floor, black olive, minerality, and licorice. The tannins are lithe and the body is light. The finish seems a bit short but overall, this is an elegant wine that is very aromatic and a great value (for Burgundy).

Cherry nose. Nice and pleasant, red fruits up front, with light tannins in the end. Slight savory/earth notes in the middle. Needs maybe a bit more acidity kick. Flavor and aroma completely gone by the second day. This needs to be finished in a night. This was pushed really hard at Total Wine, staff recommendation, and tag proclaiming a 94pt review, cashier saying "this Pinot is AWESOME!" but I think there were much better wines for the same price in the same aisle.

- Garnet color and aromas of blackberry, raspberry and cherry. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of cherry, raspberry, vanilla and cedar with a medium/full body. Polished texture with a medium finish - Had with beef bourguignon.

- Ruby color with slow forming legs and aromas of blackberry, raspberry, black currant and cherry. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of cherry and raspberry with a medium/full body. Round texture with a medium finish - Had with grilled pork loin. Very nice wine but it needs at least a two hour decant IMO, to begin to round out. I will try this wine again in 6 months.

Drank alongside beef Tenderloin in a house demi-Glace and wine sauce.
Color: Textbook young burgundy (pale ruby)
Nose: Surprisingly perfumed for a $19 Burg. Sweet cherry, red fruits, dust and new leather
Palate: Quite good and even better on day 2. It really needs a serious decanting. This generic burg opens up with sweet cherry and red fruits then in the midpalate some minerality as well as earth and new leather. The finale gives us a splash of fine and delicate tannins intertwined with burgs minerality. A bit linear and light but it is difficult to complain given the price !
Absolute Great wine for the price. Will buy again !

I will not hold this for the long run. It think with a 2 hours decanting this is good as it is right now or for the next 2-3years
Voilà !

Still something going on. Held up nicely paired with another '09 premier cru. Red fruits, garden floor and a little loam with still-balanced finish

Poliment.
Caractère végétal très appuyé, fruit mince, texture mince, acidité rafraîchissante à vive, nez légèrement épicé, métallique, végétal, éthylique... Très ordinaire.
Sur 2009, impardonnable.
Mauvais RQP.

Smooth, medium length finish with good acidity and tartness. Not overly fruity. Good value, went well with salmon.

Need to decant this for a minimum of 5 hours!! Bold and spicy when it finally opened. Good wine and value if you have all day to decant!
