94 Points

Saturday, November 6, 2021 - From 75cl, perfect cork, opened but not decanted 1 hour. Hints of struck match, oak and chalk on the restrained nose. The palate is a revelation: supple ultra-ripe lime fruit, bright acidity, chalky minerality and an architectural relationship between the sheer weight of concentration and the lightness of superb "mineral" structure. On the very long finish, a hint of grapefruit acidity/oil numbness on the tongue. Brilliant now, surely a decade in store, but why wait? And for that matter, why buy any other white wine at this price point when this is so exquisite? 94P.
