Tuesday, January 28, 2014 - Not as Burgundian in style as the single-vineyard Heytesbury bottling, but a solid effort nonetheless. Definitely shows strong notes of oak and sweet vanilla, but there is a hint of flint and cap gun. The fruit is somewhat muted by the oak. Seems like it could use more time to integrate.
