Tuesday, April 30, 2013 - color: bright medium purple; nose: warm oak and vanilla; taste: medium-bodied mouth feel, dark cherry x spice box taste, medium-length finish with notes of licorice and tobacco; overall: complex but fruit-restrained Old World pour with plenty of stuffing as of Spring 2013 and likely to improve in another 2-3 years, cries out to be paired with beef or lamb, QPR ($30/bottle) is OK
