Not bad just one dimensional. A bit funky, faded fruit. A bit of grippy tannin and a touch of heat on the medium finish. Waited too long to drink this I think.

Medium oxblood. Took only 30 minutes to be fully open. There’s intense garrigue on the nose and intense freshness too. Along with rusty iron, freshly poured asphalt and black cherry. Silky, savory, dark and brooding. Lavender and rosemary stand out on the long, seductive finish. Love it!

Not quite as much fun as the last bottle of this two years ago. Deep, inky, peppery, velvety, seemingly Syrah-driven as others have noted. (Not bad at all, just a bit more mono than the stereophonic experience of 2 years ago. Also got slightly outclassed by the wine that preceded it.)

Very dark ruby color. Dark fruit and musty wine cellar aroma. Dark fruit and spice flavors with a very long and hot finish. Dried fruit, meat and tobacco flavors.

This was a very disappointing bottle. Great nose with lots of earth and tobacco, but it tasted creamy and lacked acidity. I would have thought the bottle was flawed, but I've also had Vignobles "Pere Pape" bottling and it had the same issue.
Maybe it got too old?

2010 Southern Rhone Night, Courtesy of Zoom (Santa Barbara County): Loaded with acidity, of the bracing/piercing kind, in contrast to an earlier bottle in the flight. Notes of pepper and violets, quite fresh. Not a very typical CdP, in fact seemed to show more Syrah than any other component. Very enjoyable nonetheless.

Very young, yet hard to resist. The local feel is eminent, the garrigue, and the cool elegance of the vintage. Splendid balance. 92++ #SøllerødKro#Corona

Holy galets, this is the sort of thing that can rekindle a fading (or at least less attended to) love affair. Had with lamb and taters and grilled fennel and it awed all of us at the table.

Very good. I should probably have waited another few years but very enjoyable now. Especially enjoyed the last glass or so, the finish was particularly good. Hope to find a couple more for the cellar.

We purchased a number of 2010 CdP for my daughters birth year. We've periodically opened some that have been dubious to last anywhere close to her 21st. Many have been disappointing, to be quite honest (in fairness, there are lowest $). This one restored my faith in the quality and value. The wine is dark in the glass. The nose has dark cherries, kirsch, raspberry, and cranberry. I would guess significant portion grenache, but the structure and tannin suggest a good deal of Mourvedre and/or syrah. Went very nice with a roast pork. The tannin is still considerable and I'd think it will go another 5-8 years.

I probably don't drink enough CNdP. When its good, its usually overpriced and expensive. When its cheap, its nasty or very one dimensional. Its hard to find good QPR in this part of the world. But this is it.
Richly textured, luscious, sweet, fresh, ripe, red fruits, coupled with aromas of flowers, licorice and peppery spices are easy to find. There is no reason to wait to pop a cork with this beauty.

Opaque crimson with a tawny rim. What's left of a Coravin'd bottle and it seems a little oxidized. Drinks quite well after some of the vinegary funk blew off. Tobacco, barbecue smoke and stewed red fruits on the nose. Spice, smoked meats, dried herbs and black fruits on the palate. Full bodied and a decent dose of acidity. Chalky tannins and the finish is long. Very good.

Clear mid-ruby with a pale garnet rim. Drinking this CdP is like watching a movie with multiple plot twists. A new development is revealed with almost every taste. It begins with a funky and savory profile of game, smoke, dried porcini transitioning to ripe black fruits, tobacco leaf and finally to jasmine and violets and hint of white pepper. "Finally" because I coravin'd only a glass and all those layers unfolded in the time it took to drink 6 ounces. What else could have been revealed given more time? I'm out of breath trying to keep up with its changes. Medium bodied, low acid, great persistence and the tannins have completely melted. Drinking at its peak now.

14.5% alc...nose of smoked game, dark black fruit, cola, touch of herbs...the palate is full-bodied, firm tannins still exist - the fruit and wine are plenty rich, but hard to sort out right now. Sort of numb though a nice wine is under all the "noise". Wait.

color: bright medium purple; nose: warm oak and vanilla; taste: medium-bodied mouth feel, dark cherry x spice box taste, medium-length finish with notes of licorice and tobacco; overall: complex but fruit-restrained Old World pour with plenty of stuffing as of Spring 2013 and likely to improve in another 2-3 years, cries out to be paired with beef or lamb, QPR ($30/bottle) is OK

Very nice and very reasonably priced CdP, loved it - Dark, full bodied with that typically great nose of plum, cherry, spice and vanilla, well structured, complex, integrated already with years to go, spicey on the palate with excellent length, very tasty! (92 Points).

Slow ox'd for a couple hours before drinking. Was struck by the purity of this wine, with floral aromatics lifting the grenache character. The palate is medium weight, showing some spice on the back end that subsided after a couple additional hours of air. Short to Medium finish. While not exactly profound, this is very easy to drink and enjoy.

Fruit bomb. Herbs de provence, spices and kirsch on the nose. Lots of red fruit, soft tannins and a lengthy finish. Great QPR, and a very solid 2010 CDP, especially for the $.

56F, P&P. Dark ruby. Beautiful nose of cherry, plum and cocoa with a hint of earth and compost behind it. Moderate to light weight with plum, berry and earth on the palate with both acid (a bit) and rough tannins. Moderate finish. Nicely balanced, young. Very drinkable now but will be exciting to taste down the road!

Did not decant. Glad I didn't. Seemed to oxidize rather quickly. Wine was still enjoyable but not memorable.

Warm, lingering, round, stones, savory, leather, garrigue, spice, dark fruits, smooth tannins, balanced.
These were just a few of the comments that came from the tasting panel this evening and everyone agreed it was top notch.
I know a lot of the haters out there get tired of hearing this but, thank you Jon!
