Thursday, February 6, 2014 - Tasted at Farmhouse Evanston from a pristinely stored bottle from Kent Cellars.
Darker golden color. Looked as though it may be heavily oxidized. Not the case.
This couldn't have been at a better point for a 1979 Napa Chardonnay.
Lovely nose of dark roast nuts and slightly dried fruit. The palate, however, is fresh and much more vibrant still showing nice acidity believe it or not.
